On September 15 and 16, an event was held at the Cultural Center of the Gimnasio Moderno, which brought together great educators of the country, the International Congress of Education, which was attended by 575 people.
Rector Víctor Alberto Gómez Cusnir and the executive president of CAF (Development Bank of Latin America), Sergio Díaz-Granados, began Friday’s conferences with international guests Daniel Wilson, Mariano Fernández Enguita and Emilio Torres. In the afternoon, attendees were able to enjoy the scheduled workshops, which consisted of 4 thematic axes.
On Saturday, starting at 7:30 a.m., Begoña Ibarrola, Tina Blythe, José Ramón Gamo, Santiago Doubtfire Pellicer and Julián de Zubiría offered their lectures to the public, who enjoyed topics such as emotional intelligence in the classroom, artificial intelligence and new technologies in education, among other topics that impact current teaching methods.
At the end of the event, the attendees received their certificate of attendance and participation in the International Congress on Education Why Educate Today? Uncertainties and Certainties.
