The Montessori 2B children received a visit from Fabián Barrera, a member of the Kogui community, who shared with the students relevant aspects of his community, such as the meaning of some objects like maracas, seashells, poporo, and the meaning of colors for his community.
Students expanded their understanding of the four elements of nature: earth, wind, air and water, and how these are of great importance to their community.
At the end of the activity, the students had the opportunity to enjoy and participate by singing the songs that Fabián Barrera taught us.
