When they were students at the Gimnasio Moderno, Álvaro Quijano Sánchez and Juan José Pérez were guided by their ingenuity in the “La Gimnasiana” school entrepreneurship project. During breaks, they sold hamburgers with melted cheese inside the meat, an idea that was very popular and quickly became the favorite product of the school students.
After graduating, in 2018, they studied Business Administration at CESA. After a few semesters and motivated by the values and the Confidence Discipline they learned at school and the knowledge acquired in the university, they decided to jump into the action and create their first venture: “40 Pibes”, a name inspired by the amount of hamburgers that they use to sell during school breaks.
This business offers food solutions at events and celebrations and also allows customers to purchase their frozen product.
Álvaro and Juan José dream of growing their business and giving their brand more visibility. They also contemplate establishing their own restaurant or, perhaps, a hidden kitchen to offer services to go.
From the Gimnasio Moderno and its Alumni Association we celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of these two alumni.
