From the area of language, thought and society (LTS), sixth grade students made an interactive presentation on the importance of ancestral knowledge in Colombia and its role in the construction of cultural identity, as a project of the first semester in the class of Problem Based Learning (PBL).
The students investigated in depth about various cultures of the national territory and their ancestral knowledge (intangible cultural heritage), reflecting on how this affects the sense of belonging and the process of construction of their identity. The project was guided by professors Neyda Sierra, Carlos Salgado and Nicolás Díaz, under the research question: How can cultural identity be strengthened through the recognition of ancestral knowledge?
