When he was selling sandwiches with his brother at the student store La Gimnasiana, Nicolás Maldonado Jacobsen discovered his entrepreneurial spirit. Upon graduation, in 2009, he entered CESA to study Business Administration; After that, he took a specialization in Sports Management at the Universidad Católica Argentina and, upon finishing, he had the opportunity to work at the Club Atlético River Plate. Then he worked for Adidas, managing the relationship with Millonarios FC.
Years later he merged his two passions: soccer and entrepreneurship. He focused on building companies with high impact business models that could be financed through venture capital; This is how Scouting Labs was born, a startup that is dedicated to improving talent detection processes (scouting) in soccer for youths, through technology.
In addition, he is the founder of Mavecure, a data analytics and technology consultancy with which companies from different industries can unlock the value of their information to make better decisions and optimize processes.
Without a doubt, Nicolás is an entrepreneur who has known how to take advantage of each of the opportunities. From the Gimnasio Moderno and its Alumni Association, we wish him all the best in each of his projects.
