On October 27, the Gimnasio Moderno invited several kindergartens, including neighboring gardens such as Sesamo Kids, AeioTU, Aguamarina, La Comarca, Cascanueces, Babidibu, among others, to share a space for reflection and calm, after the difficult moments caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Rector, Víctor Alberto Gómez Cusnir, welcomed the guests to this meeting. Then, the Chancellor, Carolina Caicedo, explained the different international alliances that the school has, and then introduced the special guest, Juanita Boada De Narváez, neurolinguistic programmer, specialist in neuro-education and certified as existential coach – therapeutic logo, founder of Kindergarten Huellas, a member of the school community since her father and brothers are alumni of the school, who gave a talk about emotional intelligence.
Juanita invited all those attending the talk to look at the difficult times in a positive way in the midst of all the challenges that arose after the pandemic, and to recognize this situation as an act of growth full of hidden gifts.
Attendees enjoyed delicious chocolate and a chat between friends that strengthened the bonds of fraternity between the institutions. To end the meeting, the Director of Admissions, Mariana Jaramillo, explained that the Gimnasio Moderno will always be an open-door school for all students who want to enter.
