Today, Gimnasio Moderno is experiencing one of the most important moments in its history. The girls have begun their school life in Montessori I and Montessori II, giving formal start to the mix in our classrooms. Along with them, new gymnasians begin a stage that promises to continue the legacy of the school, which since 1914 has been a benchmark of freedom, critical thinking and comprehensive training.
During the day, the gymnasians met their eleventh grade sponsors, who presented them with the hiker’s neckerchief, symbol of the gymnastics flag. This scarf will accompany them in their future adventures within the school and on every excursion.
The entry of girls into the Moderno brings new voices, ideas and perspectives, enriching a history that continues to evolve without losing sight of our founding values.
With the arrival of the first gymnasians, the school is strengthened and opens the way to the formation of leaders who, with their dreams and perspectives, will be agents of change and transformation in the world.
