After one year and a half without playing the Tradition Cup due to the health emergency caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, on Thursday, October 7, the hearts of hundreds of members of the school were once again shaken with the 75th match between the Gimnasio Campestre and the Gimnasio Moderno.
The fans who were in the stands cheered their teams with passion and emotion, amid shouts, laughs and whistles, they sang the choruses that cheered both teams.
Around noon the game began and the 22 players entered the grass to leave everything on it. The first half was very close between the two teams, the Gimnasio Moderno had great opportunities in the goal post, but in the minute 16 of the second half, the Gimnasio Campestre scored one goal that led to victory number 47 of this Cup.
The Communications Office of the Gimnasio Moderno presents the live broadcast of the Tradition Cup, which could be streamed through the school’s website, the mobile application and social networks. On this occasion, the broadcast was narrated by Nicolás Meléndez and commented by Juan Camilo Carvajal, both students of grade Eleventh B.
