On April 21, the Rector of the Business University Foundation of the Chamber of Commerce of Bogotá (Uniempresarial), Carl Langebaek, invited the Gimnasio Moderno to share its successful experience managing virtuality with the students.
The teachers of the Pedagogical Support Center pointed out five tips that have worked for the successful development of virtual classes:
- Less is more: Working with familiar or easy-to-use tools ”.
- Training and exchange between teachers.
- Face-to-face and virtual environments are different scenarios.
- Work on the structure of a “good class”.
- Personalize learning.
In addition to these tips, the teachers of the school exchanged their experiences and provided useful tools to have more participatory and active classes for students, reflecting on the role of teachers in the classroom and on the meaning of virtuality.
