Juan Pablo Beltrán Ricaurte, Lawyer graduated from the Universidad Javeriana and Santiago Ospina López, professional in International Trade and Sports Management graduated from the Universidad Europea de Madrid, are two friends who graduated from the Gimnasio Moderno in 2014. The strong ties of that friendship, which emerged at school, reunited them after 7 years; Together, they created Entorno Coffee, a company dedicated to sustainability, farmers and the export of the best Colombian coffee.
Currently, the company has been in the market for two years and has exported the national product to more than 10 countries. The social principles that the School instilled in them, have made their purpose be directed towards those most in need and contributing to the construction of a better society, generating employment and highlighting the name of Colombia.
As students, they were characterized by being close to the school’s collaborators. They say that this connection led them to value those people who, silently, do their work for the enjoyment of others and that very few know how to recognize. Based on this reflection, they created their business policies that seek to deliver more benefits and recognition to Colombian coffee growers.
They are currently preparing to participate in South Korea at the Seoul Coffee Show tasting fair, where only 12 companies of the country were invited. From the Modern Gimnasio and its Alumni Association, we wish them the best.
