Primary students present the magazines The Little Egg and the Pigeon to the entire community, in their new digital versions, adapted to the new social and current dynamics. In these issues, the students reflected their development and progress of the writing exercises that they have had from virtuality.
The Little Egg
In issue No. 20 of the magazine The Little Egg [“El Huevito”], the students took advantage of the looks of the projects of the Fourth Decroly grade, referring to the Colombian identity, and articulated them with the new experience of the educational experience since the quarantine. For this reason, the magazine entitled “Colombia, in the time of coronavirus”, is the space in which the students share their emotions and experiences in this modality of digital writing.
In issue No. 44 of The Pigeon [El Pichón] magazine, many changes have been applied. 2020 represented a challenge for students: the appearance of a pandemic and having a prolonged quarantine became day-to-day experiences. These situations have been perfect inputs for the children of Fifth Decroly grade to worry about recording in the first digital version: “The world of yesterday … and today.” The most recent issue of the magazine shows the reflections on how students have lived this critical moment.
