Throughout the first semester, ninth graders conducted various thoughtful exercises, historical contexts, and critical reading around integrated topics that encouraged reflection and approach towards different Latin American contexts.
The activity led by teachers Paola Acevedo and Vladimir Benavides resulted in a series of essays that discuss the readings that were made, the knowledge acquired, the research and the connection between the areas of Spanish and Social Sciences, in the project called “Man, prototype and culture”.
In the words of the students, “In order to talk about this work we also need to reflect a little on the pandemic that we face and how it changed not only our approach and working methodology, but also managed to elevate our thoughts in the face of geopolitical problems and injustices faced by the society; we cannot deny that these essays evidence a robust work of inquiry and argumentation.”
As a final result, it was carried out the virtual review that evidences the synthesis of the reflection exercises conducted by the ninth grade students.
