With a celebration in the middle of the rotation model, Gimnasio Moderno celebrated its one hundred and seventh anniversary. For 107 years, the school has fostered critical thinking, promulgated ethical values, and defended the individual freedoms of its students.
This celebration was different from the others, due to the health contingency caused by Covid-19. The capacity was reduced and the members of the school that could not attend the campus, followed the live transmission of the ceremony through the school´s web page and the social networks.
The commemoration began with the words of the Principal, Víctor Alberto Gómez Cusnir, who spoke a few words in tribute to the legacy of Gimnasio Moderno and its vision for the future.
Then, the Marching Band made a special presentation, which surprised all the attendees and viewers, with melodies that paid tribute to the 107 years of this fortress of illusion. At the end of the Flag Raising, the students and attendees enjoyed a delicious cupcake.
