Some human beings believe that their destiny is written in the lines of their hand, for the Cultural Agenda of the Gimnasio Moderno “The Lines of your Hand” is a space for reflection and hobby, in which young students from various schools have the opportunity to dialogue, debate and argue themes of the universe of literature and poetry, which have as a pretext to unify humanity.
From September 2nd to September 6th 2014, the Cultural Agenda of the Gimnasio Moderno presented the seventh version of “The Lines of Your Hand” [Las Líneas de su Mano], a free event that for this opportunity attracted 24 international and 16 national poets, who shared their verses with students from different educational institutions and with the general public.
This academic activity, was the perfect excuse for the invited poets to speak unpretentiously about their work, building dialogues around various topics, creating workshops from poetry and giving the audience the opportunity to navigate through the sinuous paths of the palms of writers.
