The Lines of Your Hand 9

The most anticipated literature meeting of the year.

What happens in the head of a writer when creating a literary work? That is the question that was formulated by the School’s Cultural Agenda and that gave rise to the consolidation of one of the activities that brings together students from various institutions of the city around the books. It is the Lines of your Hand [Las Líneas de su Mano], a metaphorical way to get to know the ideas and experiences of the writers who annually are invited to the Gimnasio Moderno to face the most complicated Audience: their readers, the students.

This was the schedule for the ninth version of this meeting, which took place from the 6th of September to the 10th of September:

OPENING:

Opening words by: Federico Díaz-Granados, Director of the Cultural Agenda; Luis Jaime Posada García-Peña, President of the Superior Council of the Gimnasio Moderno; Juan Sebastián Hoyos Montes, Vice-Rector of the Gimnasio Moderno, the Principal of the school, Victor Alberto Gómez Cusnir, together with the director of the Gathering, Federico Díaz-Granados, welcomed the invited poets and the audience.

Meeting between Elise Turcotte and Jean-Marc Desgent

Conversation of the authors with the Colombian poet Giovanny Gómez about poetry written in French, specifically that which arises in Quebec, Canada.

Meeting with Ana Merino, Pablo Montoya and Alí Calderón
