The Gimnasio Moderno receives with great pride the news of the appointment of Jorge Enrique Ibáñez, father of three students, as magistrate of the Constitutional Court.
Jorge Enrique has always been a fair and independent person, who participates every day in the routines of his children and cares about the well-being of his family. He began his career as a lawyer in the “Banco de la República”, where he also advised the 1991 National Constituent Assembly and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
His rigorousness and preparation led him to be one of the most recognized academics in the best universities in the country. Thanks to his work and effort, he was appointed president of the Arbitrators Court, where he stood out for his rectitude.
As the father of three children, Jorge Enrique clearly knows that he must be a good example to them, so he has always taught them to follow the rules, respecting rights and duties, to always be at the service of the community and the country, putting honesty and values first.
