Thanks to his talent, his athletic spirit and the flexible hours that the school always offered him when he was a student, today Santiago Chamorro is one of the greatest promises of Colombian Golf.
During his career as a golfer, he has had the opportunity to represent Colombia in several important events such as the South American Pre-Juniors and Juniors. He has participated twice in the World Cup in Japan and has been National Junior Champion twice, as well as multiple champion in amateur events in Colombia.
He graduated from the Gimnasio Moderno in 2018. He obtained a scholarship and is currently studying at Barry University in Miami, United States, he is taking the fifth semester of Sport Management.
During his first year of studies he managed to achieve his first individual degree with the university and also obtain the recognition Freshman of the year 2019.
Santiago dreams of finishing his professional university program to give himself the opportunity to continue with professional golf and reach the PGA Tour, his greatest dream as a sportsman.
