From April 19 to April 23, the Language Week was celebrated. The Spanish area, the Cultural Agenda and the school’s Libraries, designed a series of virtual and face-to-face activities, to bring school members closer to the world of letters.
In Preschool, the little school members had the opportunity to share funny stories that took them to magical worlds, reading stories with special guests. In the same way, they met the writer and illustrator of children’s stories Amalia Low and shared a wonderful literary picnic.
Elementary students carried out different text production exercises, reflected on the activity “Pills to communicate better” and shared with the author Miguel Mendoza Luna.
For middle school, the school members had conversations with the writers Pilar Lozano, Juan Pablo Díaz and Albeiro Echavarría, and had the opportunity to participate in a spelling bee, among other activities that brought them closer to the Latin American Boom.
High School students enjoyed several activities such as the Tribute to the Book, reading stories aloud, reading anecdotes, reflections on the importance of the spoken and written word, talks on the importance of Don Quixote and a literature and humor meeting with Juan Carlos Muñoz.
