Last Tuesday, May 9, seventh grade students attended a day of consultation of sources and research at the Luis Ángel Arango Library, located in the neighborhood of La Candelaria. This visit was part of the project they are developing for their Thinking, Language and Society class.
The seventh grade students had the opportunity to explore the different resources offered by the library, such as its renowned newspaper library and collection of printed titles, in addition to immersing themselves in the intellectual and captivating atmosphere of this important center of knowledge for Bogotá and Colombia.
The construction of a context and the understanding of complex concepts are fundamental to carry out a deep and impactful research that manages to reinterpret the superficial imaginaries about this historical process, both in the students and in their environment.
This day of inquiry will allow students to continue working on their projects until the end of the semester, when they will present the results and final products to the entire student body.
