The conversation of what was not said
The school’s reading club bid farewell to the first semester of the year.
Last Monday, May 29, the members of the Almudena Grandes book club talked with the writer José Zuleta Ortiz about his novel “Lo que no fue dicho” (2021), winner of the National Literature Prize. The dialogue revolved around the reflections and emotions generated by the reading experience, family relationships, the drift of life, gratitude, among other topics.
Without a doubt, this was a wonderful experience for the members of this semester’s book club. Through various conversations, they made important reflections on literature.
The book club invites the entire community to join its literary meetings next semester. These will be held every Monday at 4:00 p.m. at the Founders Library.
